Hey Sakhaa Bidaay...

When he was taken out of the stable,
May be after many days or rather many months,
How cheerful he was, bubbling with joy,
May be saying at heart,
Lo and behold! 'am ready for my master,
My dear master...
To get his caring touch,
To take him wherever he wants.

Alas,
His master does not need him any more,
He has done his part of duty,
'Is free to go anywhere.

Well , adieu friend adieu,
Quietly but honourably,
Sadly but elegantly,
Never with drops of tears, though not with a smile,
He left slowly, softly...
The gallops that were heard
from miles before reaching home with the master
was no more there.

O' he looked back,
What! Have you left any thing behind?
'Yes, a heartful of sweet memories,
and a stomachful of care.'
Please give a message to my dear master,
My best wishes to him,
May God give him all the glory and joy of the earth.
Also please tell him I am going,
so to contribute for his' home-coming',
Like the squirrel for the ' Ram-Setu.'
